Ubuntu 8.04 … bald!

Bald ist es soweit, die neue Ubuntu Version! Ich bin mittlerweile total überzeugt von Ubuntu und habe nur noch nebenbei Windows für evtl mal wieder stattfindende LAN Sessions.

Bei der neuen Version ist auch ein Tool dabei (WUBI) das dem User erlaubt Ubuntu in Windows wie ein einfaches Programm zu installieren und deinstallieren. Ich denke das ist eine gute Möglichkeit dieses tolle Betriebssystem auszuprobieren!

Woho noch ein ubuntu Jünger

Naja wer es testen will sollte auf jeden fall noch was warten.
Momentan ist hardy nicht gerade stabil, das könnte den
ersteindruck doch stark beeinflussen.

Ich bin auch irgendwie interessiert. Will das auch unbedingt ausprobieren. Da ihr ja drinsteckt würde ich mal wissen wollen, wie das mit Programmen im allgmeinen ist? Hatte vor ersteinmal auf dem heimischen Rechner auf, oder zumindest als zweites neben XP ubuntu zu installieren. Laufen denn da auch windows programme drauf? und müsste man die Programme nochmals unter ubuntu installieren oder schafft es das auch so? wäre sehr nett, wenn ich mir da helfen könntet.

aber allgemein trifft sich das echt gut, mein rechner muss sowieso platt gemacht werden. und da halte ich es auch noch 12 tage aus
